Info for competitors: Competitors please read Practice Schedule at end of this bulletin.
There is a massive entry with 20 races on 2nd June.
There is no untimed practice as we have so many races due to the Easter Monday races being abandoned so there are additional classes from the usual June meeting.
The Qualifying practice order is at the end of this bulletin and those of you who are in the first two practice sessions should get scrutineered asap to be ready for practice. There are over 250 motorbikes to scrutineer!.
KIRKISTOWN CIRCUIT INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS 2nd June 2018
Opening & Closing times to Kirkistown circuit will be:-
Friday 1st June – Gates open 4.00pm – 10.30pm
Saturday 2nd June– Gates open 6.30am – 8.00pm
Competitor’s vehicles will be parked in the paddock on a first come first serve basis. Any non-race vehicles i.e.: private cars/vans will NOT be permitted into the paddock. NO EXCEPTIONS
Failure to comply with instructions given by the Paddock/Club staff may result in the rider (s) exclusion from the event.
Electricity for those staying from Friday the rate is approx. £10. These hookup points are limited & the 500 Club personnel will be collecting the money for this. Electricity is for sole use of the purchaser. Anyone caught ‘sharing electricity‘ will be disconnected and no refund shall be given.
Garages open/closed times are as follows:
Friday will be locked at 10.30pm.
Saturday from 7.00am and will only be opened by the paddock staff at the request of the garage occupant.
Garages are booked via the 500 Club (Kirkistown) We have been reminded by Kirkistown that cables are NOT permitted to run from garages at any time.
Scrutineering will take place on:
Friday from approx. 7.00pm – 8.00pm
Saturday morning from approx. 7.30am – 09.00am (Scrutineer machine(s) before sign on)
Rider sign on will be open:
Friday 7.00pm – 8.00pm
Saturday from 7.30am – 9.15am (Remember your race licence and scrutineering docket(s).
Rider briefing
At 08.30am – Competitor attendance is compulsory. Location of briefing will be announced on Saturday morning.
Spectator admission is £10 which includes an event programme. Children under 12years are free and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
