Also have the rear wiper motor off to grease up the motor as it's not moving freely, I've it currently steeping in cleaner, if it works, great... if not it's getting dewipered

Looks ok to me ha

I always meant to put a spoiler on mine suppose it’s a bit late now as I’ll be getting rid once the lease special comes. I’ll be sad to see mine go. Great colour that one.

When I bought mine the colour swayed me. You rarely see anything different than silver. That last pic is the full front end of a Vauxhall agila. Long story. Only advice is check the handbrake shoes. Other that that brilliant car

That looks fantastic, very interesting colour but it looks well!

I have a real soft spot for Volvo, I'm 28 and the next one will be my 3rd lol

Where you always into volvos or did you just buy one and then became a volvo'er

There's some photos of mine to give you an idea what way the spoiler should sit.
Just a wee update of a trip over to the West Coast at the start of September. Alloys and windows tinted (also cracked an alloy on this trip). Have a replacement alloy here to get painted up the same as what's on it.
Next on the list after that is a paint correction to get her sitting nice.

The boot is plastic and the spoiler is bolted on from the inside.

Here's a thread on the fitting.

Finally got round to fitting tailgate spoiler V70 P2

It's a mk1 spoiler that I'm trying to make fit a mk2, doesn't look much different in shape except the brackets not seem to be the right design for my car, haven't took much time to properly look at it yet to be fair

Seeing this in the new posts section makes me miss mine ... it had about 170k on it when it went to the big junkyard in the sky and would have went a lot further had the previous owner given it a bit more TLC. Unfortunately everything that needed done built up and it became uneconomic to sort it all by then lol

Well this car comes with almost all previous mot certs and a print out of work/mileage etc as far as I've been told the timing, clutch etc been done.. can't remember what the paperwork said at this moment but it's been looked after to a certain extent but like most cars it does have a few small issues (generally wear n tear) as stated which I am addressing them all so should be perfect for what it is :grinning:

If its anything like ours it will take a lot of abuse! lol

Over the years ours was filled to the neck with petrol (more than once IIRC), put through a hedge on a greasy corner, towed well over its limit in cars & horses and at times sat untouched for months as a second motor still firing up on request every time.

Rear wiper motor was messing about, motor was seized which is common fault.

I stripped it down, steeped it in cleaner and came back to sparking clean motor but still didn't want to perform properly so I lost patience with it and said to myself I'm used to having no rear wiper so off it came.

Rubber plug put in with some sealant, 10mm bolt with sealant around the threads of the bolt and screwed into the water feed hose.

Job done and looks tidier (y)

Dad went up to buy a 320d from a dealer.... ended up coming home with an S40 instead and I loved it.

Was hooked after that, really liked it so I bought a T5 one.... then the second one was a pristine S80 3.2 that I couldn’t resist lol

My next one won’t be cripplingly bad on fuel though......he said.

How many miles are you expected to get from a tank of diesel in these around town/mixed driving?

Yet to put fuel in it lol

If the range is like an S60 D5, you're looking at about 7-800 miles per tank mixed driving. Theres guys on the volvo forums getting 900 or more but they obviously drive handier than me.
