Volvo HU-850 Illumination Prob

Some of the lights on the controls (Bass/Treb/Balance/Fade) have gone on the above stereo. I had a quick look online and from what I seen it is quite a common problem on these and a bit of a bo**ocks to fix. Has anyone on here had any experience of this and was it repairable ? Its literaly just the bulbs out, the display works fine.
Any recommendations of a fixer would be great.

Never fixed one, BUT if you wish to remove the radio, DO NOT disconnect the climate control panel or it will bring the SRS light on. If you really want to disconnect it, disconnect the battery first.
