Tyre kicking but seriously considering purchase. £2k perhaps, 250cc but wouldn't look past a 300EXC/Gasgas or 450

I did this last summer, it's mostly been used for the trails and green lanes on the IOM but I also had a bash at a XC race at Todds Leap. All of it the best fun I've had on a motorbike. I bought a 2t 200cc EXC

Kinda my thinking, place 1mi up the road from me + forests and the odd trip to desertmartin/magilligan as they're open practice tracks. IOM isn't out of reach for a long weekend or two
