That’s a total dog, every panel, both bumpers, drivers mirror, all 4 wheels have some form of damage, bonnet has a 10” deep and wide scratch very poorly touched in lol we were looking for an ST, looked at loads, very hard to find a decent one, just decided they didn’t exist and to avoid them

If Id knew you were going to look at that could have saved you a trip. I was offered it......ehhhh no thanks. Some rust on the quarters!!

Hope you find one @gsmith still need to let you see the RS.

I definitely sold mine too cheap when I see the price of them now. Mine with brand new b14 bilsteins, brand new fl rims and 4 brand new goodyears eagle f1’s, and it was in good condition with a folder of receipts and it was less than most of these.

lotta junk out there. Was speaking to a guy yesterday who is buying these and Fiesta ST and putting them in storage. Expecting good returns in as little as 5 years time.

I think he'll have a longer wait than that.

Would depend on your interpretation of "good return" I guess. He seems happy to hold tem for as long as it takes. Money in savings has a very poor return in the same timescale.

One of the reasons i sold mine, it was too good to put the miles on, i have zero time for keeping them sitting to earn money and didn't want to lose on it. As with anything like this, they bottom out, hold, go up, stabilize for a very long period, then skyrocket or fall back. There are tonnes of them on the market in the uk, if you are buying decent ones at £4500-£6500, you may get a 25% return in 5 years, you may not. Certain models and marques hold for what seems like ages around the 5k mark, then plummet and spend the rest of their days recovering (mk2 golf gti 16v) ( escort rs turbo ) yada yada yada. You need space, and be prepared for a mid to long haul. I have neither :joy:

Guy that bought it sold it to a local fella (absolute car nut) who spent a few quid more on it.

SP drove a c class for a few months then missed the st that much he went and bought it back!

I'm still to take it a run actually, it's being well looked after anyways.

Glad to hear it, I loved that car and it was only sold because I had the replacement and I couldnt afford them both.

Have only started looking at them again recently but I'd say they're holding their value. There are two active threads on here for people looking them anyway. It wasn't the orange one in Newtownards you bought?
