He's on his final warning from dvla for misplacing numbers and letters.

I picked up IKZ191 for the young lad from the DVLA earlier in the year and would like another 191 plate for the daughter but would like to pay £250 again, do the they release plates so many times a year or is it just a case of keeping tabs?

Those DVLA dateless plates are released monthly, usually around the 27th from memory, and as far as I know, its generally just certain batches at a time. I got XXI 6 years ago, and then they disappeared for a few yesrs with none coming through, but was able to get another a few months back.

There is a another release of dateless plates in Jan 23 for definite as one I enquired about is in that release according to DVLA.
