Wanted: Small car - £500-1000

Has anyone got a small car for sale within the £500-1000 price range? Cheap tax and running costs would be ideal as it'll just be a 2nd car for the house and likely to sit on the driveway 4-5 days a week.

Is it a big ask for that kinda car/price range to have 'minimal' rust etc?

Something like a 207, Corsa, Auris etc.

Almost guaranteed rust at that price and age. There was a wee low milage Clio for sale with only 37k on it for £850 on gumtree that might fit the bill

I have this wee 206 at the minute. I just put a replacement rear axle in it today. I was going to use it as a second car as well because it's 1.4HDi and £30 a year tax. It's not MOT'd yet but I will be putting it through the test if you can hang on a week or two.

Its silver, with couple months mot, could put 1 year on it no probs
