In busy periods they are schedule controlled?Folk in bumper-to-bumper traffic, that dilly-dally when driving up to Traffic lights, letting the sensors pick up a gap and trigger the red lights, then drive on through said red light, forcing everyone else behind them

I think so, someone might know for certain but the sequences seem like it to me.Is that right aye?
The one time you want a speed camera van to be parked thereSome people shouldn’t be aloud in the car at all, not even passenger seat.
Van almost went head on with this plank.
second picture is this muppet reversing.

The cyclist Bangor bound on the A2 this evening who thought he was above using the cycle lane causing cars to move into lane 2 to overtake him.
400 yards further up the road, an exemplar cyclist using the cycle lane.

I passed him about 5mins before you then! At that stage a tractor was in lane 2 turning right and he was level with the tractor so people were all over the place trying to pass him.
I say this to try and help you understand - not as an argument. But if you zoom in on the picture you posted of the "cycle lane" above, the amount of debris lying in it is unreal! Trying to cycle down that on a road bike with narrow tyres is more dangerous than in lane 1 imo. The risk of a puncture or swerving to avoid a large stone is high. They never seem to be maintained or even swept.I may have given him a prolonged beep and flash of the left indicator but he didn’t take the hint.

People who have never cycled wont understand this.
As for driving past beeping. Thats just downright arseholish behaviour. Would you drive past the tractor beeping because he is travelling slower than you albeit legally?
Having said that, I wouldn't cycle on a dual carriageway like that at rush hour because unfortunately there are too many drivers that think they own the road, and they are the ones making it unsafe (again imo)
Prob going to regret posting this. But if I can get just one person to think from a cyclist perspective, I'd be happy
Thanks for taking the time to reply, especially from the perspective of a cyclist. I could understand the debris part, however as mentioned, there was a cyclist using the lane further ahead so I can’t see the issue. Also, the cyclist in question was in lane 1 for as long as I saw him, so it wasn’t simply a nip out to avoid a rock / broken bottle etc.
Hands up, shouldn’t have beeped, no excuse. I wouldn’t drive past a tractor beeping in a similar manner as there is no crawler lane or specified lane for tractors or other slow moving vehicles.
Again, appreciate your response and my problem isn’t with all cyclists, simply those that seem to be above using their designated lanes and not abiding by the Highway Code.
Maybe the need for sweeping to remove debris needs flagged up to DfI?
Having said that I think I’d take my chances with the debris on the cycle lane, the risk of cycling on a dual carriageway is just too high.
