Waiting on Visas lad. Started last October, sold house and ready to go. Aussie Gov has cut immigration intake and changed loads. Waiting game. Really hope to be away soon.

My uncle, his wife and the three waines are heading out now in a few weeks. I’m pretty certain he started the visa process after you too. Can’t wait to go visit them!

Got a warning thrown up about the anti skid system on the v70 last week so took a chance on a cloned volvo dice scanner ordered from ebay so I could read the codes.
Arrived on Saturday so got the vida software loaded with some messing around on an old windows 7 laptop I blew the dust off, pleased to say the scanner works fine, was able to read, erase codes, reset service interval etc so will come in handy I'm sure

The antiskid warning was related to the yaw sensor according to vida, forums said the connector can suffer water damage in some models so pulled out the sensor to have a look, and confirm part numbers, thankfully sensor was under the drivers seat so pretty accessible

Sensor connections were bone dry so assume its faulty so grabbed the part number and will pick up a replacement and refit.

Got some heko wind deflectors as well and fitted this week

Lucky sods. If he was sponsored or a builder then it’s easy and quicker. We are going on skilled independent visa so we can go wherever in Aus rather than be told where to go. Here’s hoping we get news next month.

Alignment carried out yesterday, was off by just a touch lol. Camber adjustment plates will be purchased eventually as these also have longer bolts which in turn will allow me to finally install the strut brace

Moted the car today the woman in the lane in front of me locked the keys inside her x3. Blocked the whole lane. They did mine over the hgv pit. Quickest mot I've ever seen never even bothered to open the bonnet.

Still seething over lastnights mot in my spare truck....After getting welding and Shultz done the tester (for want of a better word) proceeded to take a hammer & a full size crow bar to the chassis with what seamed like a run up to put the chassis through in places. Telling me you can’t cover it up with Shultz (done to protect not conceal) & granted I know it’s a transit and do rot but f*ck me lawddd What were you doing down there

Organised a bmw meet up at j1. Didn't think that many would turn up but had something like 16 cars in total including one porsche, one 350z and a celica lol the m5 is an absolute beast!!!
Even had cupcakes too which were made by @MarkM wife Emma! They were delicious and a lovely wee surprise for everyone
