since having the front mount fitted its allowed general dirt debris/leaves etc to enter bonnet via the scoop....so if you look very very closely 8-| you can now see its meshed off lol

I changed my wind deflectors because the Heko ones that we’re on the car when I got it kept dropping down, replaced with genuine ones from Halliday Peugeot Bushmills which have a cleaner look. Also got GTI badges for the wings to replace the stickers that were on the car.

Completely washed and hoovered it. First time in weeks then I got shouted at by my wife for taking ages and that I hadn’t got the Xmas wrapping paper from the attic ffs.

That'll be me tomorrow. I've forewarned her that I'm taking at least 4 hours to do it too. Guaranteed I'll get told off for something random, all the same.

Wifes car went of a cylinder.
Was sure this was the cause when I removed them. Doubt they’ve ever been changed.

Didn’t sort it so fitted new coil, still of a cylinder. Finally got it on the computer and turned out to be an injector. Replaced it and thankfully running smooth again with no lights.
Hopefully stays that way!

Could you get a generic dust shield to fit if you replace with another set?

The springs run too tight to shock body to fit internal ones. The cocks actually done a recall on fronts for same issue and replaced and refitted with dust covers. They never bothered their hole with rears

Yeah had been looking at them and if I manage to get them refurbed was gonna stick a set of those over them

I might start a car wash just for Xmas eve 🤣 everything and anything being washed today.
i powerhosed my white Skoda yesterday in Tesco then ditched it today avoiding a fox hunt and all the cavlery so its bogging after having to dig it out through the muck.

Drove past two different car washes within a quarter mile of one another earlier both were queued back about 6-7 cars 😂

I’ve never used a public car wash(hand wash) in over 4 years but its a great investment for one day only as every one I’ve seen has been queued out.
even seen a tractor in one in Banbridge today
