Sorted a small niggle car has had since buying it. Adhesive on the front end cap to drivers side skirt had lost its integrity therefore was siting out slightly, not a huge amount but enough to bug me.

Part removed and surfaces preped for new adhesive.
3M double sided tape used to secure cap to front wing, seems like a cheap fix but it’s as was done in the factory when built.

To many cars
I had bought a set of Rota Grids recently
Et30 front an rear
Rears are perfect but fronts rub the calliper
Ideally et12 is needed

So spacers bought, forgot about longer wheel studs

So studs removed

Battery died after I got all in, spacers fitted and wheels fitted

Took the car home to make sure all sounded an steered right

Gave the daily a bit of attention yesterday and today. Changed the oil and filters, free’d up a sticking caliper and gave the wiper arms a coat of paint. Noticed the front tyres are well past there best so that’s tomorrow’s job.

Not today (did on Friday) but had an incident with yogurts on the seat. Used SolarPower from Anachem and a Titan wet vac and back looking good again.

Been a while since I've had a 'yogurt spilt on the seat' moment in the motor. Was a very impressive spray of 'yogurt' across the rear bench of my old GSI Vectra that took some scrubbing to remove.

Saved myself £267.61.

I'm not usually into 'stick on' bits for cars in general but I took an £8.99 punt on some ebay specials red heater vent rings for our A160 AMG line that we picked up the other week. These come as standard on A250s and the A45 and can be bought for £276.60 if you've cash to burn!

You couldn't really beat it for less than a tenner!

Was very pleased the other day to see that Ford thought about the future replacement of brake pipes on the MK6 Fiesta. They very kindly placed a connector behind the plastic splash gaurd so all you have to do is replace the last foot or so of the line rather than the whole thing because the rest of it is fine. Very forward thinking and made the job so much easier.

Doubt that was the reason tbh 🤣

Anything
Much difference with the 911 mods @gav525 ?

Haven't driven it yet to see lol.
From what I've read the engine mounts are meant to be an unreal difference, some people say it was the best thing the ever did to the car. We'll see tomorrow.

And induction pipe is just for a bit more induction noise, was tempted to go full GT3 throttle body and inlet plenum but decided not to in the end as this was nice and easy.
GT3 bucket seats on the way for it also now to hold me in one place

Scaffolding and a ratchet strap would be better.
