Due to the fantastic weather forecast for yesterday @S2000-sam and I took one last hurrah for the season. We opted for Fermanagh and it did not disappoint. Roads were pretty quiet, stunning scenery and some great roads for scalping along.

SORN is now on the cards and hibernation to commence. Few wee jobs to be done off season and get ready for 21 with a few mods planned to enhance the car further

Tried to fit braided brake lines to the front brakes but that was as tight as the nut on the metal pipe would go. Would a washer to compress the spring be ok ?
It’s not something I wanted to risk especially for going on track so I put the old line back on for the meantime and bled the brakes then gave it a quick wash.

I had to make a spacer/washer for the spring clip to hold my braided lines tight

Other halfs car seemed quite dim, spotted a headlight out while behind another car so included some bulbs in the shop and fitted them in a few mins. Not hard to swap yet there's countless people driving about with lights out

Great news
Heard a clunk...steering wheel then became off centre driving down road..nursed it home. Found said clunk, 3 securing bolts on p/s ball joint loose..jacked & tightened, and driverside also checked and given a nip just for good measure.

All in the lashing rain :worried:
You haven’t lived until you have to park the car up on a curb to lie underneath it in the gutter with the rain running down your neck and out you trouser legs 😂
