That looks like a VW/Audi retrofit and a good one at it. If it works it works

Cleared out the disc changer with the airline to get it working and give the old girl a dose of hybrid.

After driving to Gosford Forest Park and back today I removed the crackle and pop map, duck it got annoying

Think it’ll need a wash tomorrow tho, imagine the sides will be like the alloys when it dries.

Changed the coolant temperature sensor on the Passat today. Required the egr valve, inlet pipe and engine lifting point to be removed to get access to the sensor. A hour job for the sake of a 2 second sensor swap, hopefully get more than 30mpg now

Fitted the R32 rear light to GTi and new wheel nut covers!

Cleaned the wife’s motor for the new owners lifting it on Monday all being well. Used some chemical guys products for a change and was really impressed with them. The Tiguan hasn’t been washed in ages and it’s far to cold for this carry on

Only not liking that post because the exhaust tips look felt spec

I don't think any hatch suits 4 tips though but the lights look class

me either at the start! When you turn it on and here it burble you soon appreciate them.

I'd imagine a bit of fiddlery and you could have the exact same noise coming out one side though

To be fair I'm quite partial to the mk7 gti exhaust. Think it's far nicer than the R with just one tip either side.

That’s too much hassle lol. I going for less work on this motor and more enjoying. Even changing rear lights today I had frost bite on fingers and toes. More driving than changing things.
confession - did @Big Pimp s 0000 wire wool trick on windscreen - great job and thought why not front/ rear lights too and left them swirl central. Rear lights fixed with R32 ones lol and front got polished already!

Maintenance wash on my mates TT who doesn’t have facilities where he currently lives to wash the car.

Breaks my heart every time I wash it. It’s been ceramic coated and I constantly have to keep topping it up with Gtechniq C2 as water always sits on it like gloopy paint, don’t know why.

Did Ross or Pete not talk about ceramic coatings clogging up on here a while back?

Might be worth while unclogging the pores which I believe anachem citraclean was developed to aide? @Big Pimp @big_pete ?

Yeh, ceramics need to be regularly decontaminated, otherwise you'll see water behaving in the way you mentioned above.
Great job, on a lovely car though.

Oh it’s been decontaminated a lot to try resolve but every time he comes back to get it washed it’s completely non reactive

I’m not going to say it out loud but @Reno_LV has new containers to photo for me and after a regular wash regime spraying with CitraClean diluted at 30:1 will unclog even the clothiers of coatings

P.s. I think you should keep them winter wheel on permanently looks far far better...and sell the speedline to me
