Must be some sort of serendipity that this has landed on page 666 in here 😂 looks absolutely great!

Have I seen it parked in Banbridge? Or maybe that's a different one. Always turns the head

The 666 is purely coincidental.
Never noticed until you mentioned it.

Yeah the suspension is bang on although it does catch on the tiniest of ramps.
It's got the half leather half alacantra seats, might take the covers off at the weekend.
It was specced with every optional extra when new, its the only one that I've ever seen with the reversing camera from factory ( although it's a horrible bulky looking thing )
Heading to AP Performance next week to get it fine tuned.
Impreza's don't enjoy any mods unless there accompanied by a remap.
I bought a few 10 litre Jerry cans to keep it topped up with super for the trip down!

Ahh good stuff! Least it's being treated right! Good to see it's got the rb320 upgrade interior. I think the ones with std blue sti seats just look wrong. Never seen a reverse camera on a hawk before, even on the hatches they are ugly looking rear camera setup 😕

Installed a set of stone guards I designed myself on the E Class Coupe (you can not buy these or mudflaps anywhere!).

First up was the CAD phase.... Or cardboard aided design as it may be better know. I knew the shape I wanted and that I wanted to retain OE appearance for fitment for it so I designed this.....

I hope you agree that this was pretty successful so next phase was to have them cut from a suitable material. I did want carbon fibre but couldn't find anyone that could cut it precisely so I went for ABS plastic as it has a high impact resistance. I bought a couple of A4 sheets as I had designed the template to fit two per A4 page and went to the LaserSmith on the Jubilee Road in Ards who were confident their machine could cut it precisely. 2 days after dropping the template and the ABS sheets in I called in to collect the results.....

And what was left of the A4 sheet....

I just needed to fit them and check that it was a good enough fit. The first day I was off I set about it. Took me all of 5 mins to fit both and I'm very very happy with the results. I designed them with a bit of adjustment so they can be slid in and up slightly or down and out. The pictures below show them at their furthest down and out position....

A quick check after installation showed they were a bit loose so a wee bit of 3M dual lock tape so stop them from wobbling about finished them off. Have to say I'm very very happy with how they turned out though time will tell if they work or not.
