It does indeed. It only cost about £210 or so delivered and took about an hour to fit.

The only pain in the hole is that I jumped into the car this morning and one of the rear air springs have exploded. I’m not treating it to anything fancy again.
Someone clearly enjoyed the Christmas food

Removed 2.5 months worth of dirt.
Stuck in some genuine rubber mats.

Split and cleaned the foglights (and found one was broken/stone chip, and painted a racey red stripe around it to make it go faster.. painted front VW badge too.

Also fitted a replacement wiper stalk, when I hit a bump on the road the washers/wipers used to go flat out - hopefully this sorts it!

Old stuff is so easy worked on compared to modern stuff.

I started into all this at about half 10 when kids went to bed so it was all productive enough for being late at night. Wouldn't say the paint efforts are by any means perfect, but it's a shedload tidier than before I went all art-attack on it!

That would make a fantastic piece of wall art! ❤

Merc failed its MoT on a broken spring. Just finished putting it back together again after fixing that then tracing an annoying rattle to a drop link. Test drive done and its back to its quiet, waft-tastic self

You can fix 90% of a Mk2 Golf with a star-head screwdriver and a Spider wheel-brace!

Started to take the other wing off and had to tackle these wee c**ts

Any decent replacements that aren’t a pile of rubbish?
