Can get away with it more in wee Kei cars I think as they're just comical wee things, and usually driven by someone who can have a laugh at themselves. Imagine they're great fun to drive also!

Whereas the R8 kitted TTs just look bogging

The noise of the engine was amplified with the roof down. Just wasn’t a very nice sounding engine. Started to put me off having the roof down. Personal preference.

Love an e46 convertible myself. Never managed to find one in good spec and manual when I was looking maybe 10 years ago. Was always 320 basic autos.
