Great cars the Corrado VR6, different engine than the Golf VR6 with a 2.9 190bhp in a light car, 1100kg I think. I almost bought 1 many many years ago but bought a Prelude Vtec instead.
The Storm came in a dark plum colour with black leather or green with black leather and they had different wheels, that was it from memory.

Funny how times change, all dad had when I was growing up was Rovers (bar 1 Escort Ghia) and I absolutely hated them and constantly nagged at him to get something else. Now I’ve gone full circle and have a strange appreciation for them.

No the storm was a limited run of 500 made in 1995, they were only green or blue (green had cream leather, blue had black leather) but yes they had a few items as standard which were classed as options over the other models.

dont see many 16v's for sale these days - this one in Hillsborough looks a very tidy car - and good history behind it.

My dad used to have a 216 GSi when I was growing up - have them on my watch list on eBay as well.

Only when I got my Honda DC2 and my MB6 Civic, the switchgear must have all been shared especially the Civic, I think they used the same chassis as the Honda Concerto (LOL)

£999 seems incredible value given the miles etc.

We only had Si’s and then 1 SLi. I yearned for a GSi!
