Do you have a pic of what you're talking about?

Is it the standard shock, or are they coilovers?

It depends on what brand they are. Some suppliers will sell you the pair you require, other's will want you to buy the full set or else send the coilover off for a refurb.

Do you know what make they are, as a local supplier might be able to help you out.

H&R Nicky. Could you not just contact them direct and ask for a set? Shouldn't be too expensive.

Does Davy at ProCar in Carryduff not supply H&R?

I dare say with them being proper branded coilovers and not eBay specials, you will be able to get them from any stockist, though you may have to wait a few days on them.

The threads will be different from brand to brand. Out of all the brands about I'd say Bilstein would be a matcj for them. If you are near Bangor I've a few old Bilstein parts you could try to see if they fit?

Standard across most is 50mm x 2mm or 55mm x 2mm IIRC

I've AVO in the garage and they are alot courser thread than the Billys on my car and my old Spax where different again lol.

Maybe the competition stuff is all similar as the rings/spring seat i got for mine are for a mk2 Escort lol

i also have an old set of coilovers, you can have the rings off them if they fit, measure the thread and diameter of the coilover....

Bumping this thread

Anywhere local that supplies locking rings?

I need a pair of ones similar to the picture which are wider than those in the thread/ebay they need to support and hold the spring in place

I've some new ones but I'm not near you. If you measured the size of the ring and the thread on the coilover I could check mine.

Or get onto someone who sells d2 (judging by the colour) they should be available seperately.
