who tests emissions?

Does anyone know of a garage that can test your emissions, before i go through the MOT?

Any remotely decent garage at all will have a c0 machine. Williamsons in carmoney for a start

yep - even most crap garages should be able to do that for you.

any garage like ford, citroen etc do mot checks for ytour car, they'll be able to test it.

halfords have a couple of different priced testers for sale, one is around 40quid, then a higher priced around 90 or so.

There's a place in Lisburn Just beside Milltown that does it, has a big sign on the side of the road 'MOT exchaust emmisions tested here'

was thinking that, although seems a little pricey, you might get some fartknocker in a garage charging you for it, it could pay for itself in the long run.
