Looks like the wrc+ service no longer do daily highlights in the same format as the last few years. 8-( It used to be a 35 minute programme but now it's a 2 minute summary. Cant see any reason to pay for that when they are also posting it on YouTube.

Standing going into the final 4 stages on Sunday.

Could eclipse last years record of the closest finish to a Monte.

Going to be a good year with 2 Toyota v 2 Hyundai.

Neuville needed to win before Ogier finds his feet in the Yaris.

and before ott masters the Hyundai and stops going supersonic with it.

Im not sure he’ll make the i20 work for him. He’s on the back foot already and probably has had a confidence knock in the i20’s ability to handle what he threw at the Yaris. There could be doubt there when he needs to commit, for a while anyway....

What's the story with OT and Toyota. Surely it wasn't money as know way Ogier is driving for pocket money

He was frustrated with some reliability issues with the car which cost him the year before and possibly Tommi's management was part of it too.

Don’t think they (Toyota) made much of an effort to keep him in the end. Ott said he didn’t move for the money so it seems Toyota dropped the ball and Hyundai picked it up and ran with it. Hyundai made great efforts to sign him and Ott liked that plus the i20 is arguably a match for the Yaris.

Fair enough they have had their issues in the Toyota team but so have Hundy, they had a spat of suspension breakages that suggested they had milled their wishbones from glass.
They were lucky boys walking away from that accident, good job the field they went into was ploughed and absorbed a lot of energy or they could have bounced straight into those trees at close to the speed they left the road.. :worried:

Yes he seems to get these deals. Compared to guys like Mikkelsen and Paddon he’s is practically full-time.

I don’t think Sweden was one of Greensmith’s events this year. At the moment he’s only doing 8 rounds but if he does well (whatever that is) he could do one or two more.

Bad crash for Jon Armstrong. The door opened before the last impact. Could have been a disaster but apparently they aren't hurt.

7th O/A Breen. Good to see him close to Neuville. If he finishes the rally 0.6 behind him that would be a great result.
16th O/A Solberg and Aaron Johnston. 7th in R5.
Retired. Jon Armstrong. Crash.
