If you do the swirl flaps and make sure the dpf is OK (ie gut it) the 185 is a far better proposition, and the 163 has the ***** gearbox as well. The 5 speed has an alarming lag on take off almost as bad as a VW dsg.

163 is way too underpowered in an Xc90, is great in the cars though.
