How to use Sonax BSD (Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer) as a drying aid

Time to try some Sonax BSD as a drying aid in my next how to guide. It’s been diluted 1:1 (1 part water to one part Sonax BSD).   This may make the product easier to apply, reducing the buffing requirements.

This of course may reduce the longevity of the product, but no harm in doing a quick test to see.

I’d also recommend changing the spray bottle, the Sonax spray head has many complaints, however it’s supposedly been improved. Either way the replacement spray bottle makes diluting easier.

I use this all time. Great results. Usually dilute 2:1. 2 water to 1 sonax.

Wow I’ve been using this neat as a drying aid all along. So handy - one spray per panel and dry with one wipe.

Have always sprayed it onto a wet panel with a spray of demonshine. Works a treat!

Used it neat myself on a dry car found the last time I must of used a tad to much as it left a sticky smear sort of thing .

Yea I wasn’t impressed with Sonax due to the residue left behind. This may be the answer but Hybrid is hard to beat IMO

Yip sounds like too much product. I usually use 1 spray per panel, and load the microfiber with 1 spray before I start. You need to keep shaking the bottle to mix the product. | Used it neat myself on a dry car found the last time I must of used a tad to much as it left a sticky smear sort of thing .

What you think of the durability of Hybrid?

This works really well with the Gyeon Quick Detailer, mist it on to the drying towel and wipe. ? https://gyeonquartz.com/product/quickdetailer/
