They should use the new wider rims with the current tyres. Some scene stretch and will stiffen the walls up lol

Mercedes are arguing that the Winter testing needs to carried out in Bahrain next year as opposed to Barcelona. They say Barcelona won't be hot enough to really test the tyres in preparation for the warm weather circuits early next year.

The grid is split as it would be more expensive to go to Bahrain instead of Barcelona & it would eat into valuable development time.
