Same here, been with them 15yr maybe.Never had any issues myself.
Have had one car they didn't want to take on as it was outside their value range. That's fair enough.
Other than that no problem at all. Fantastic with modified stuff.
They went out of their way to insure the Evo. Even went on Google street view to check security, etc., to push the premium down.
Never encountered this alleged bad person either, maybe I've just been lucky.
As always, everyone is different and other providers are available.
Actually works out cheaper to leave the car on the street instead of in the garage for some reason.I have my Integra insured with them. Last year's renewal came in the same price as the year before, to the penny. That's despite having another year's no claims, recently moved from a development (with the car garaged at a different address) to a quiet rural area with locked garage. I questioned this by phone and got the excuse that sometimes the underwriters just treat BT postcodes all the same. The car will be 20 years old in September so I'll hopefully have more options available to me.
Mines insured for in the garage, or on the street, but NOT covered if its on my own driveway. So if it ever gets knicked off the drive I'll have to say it was on the footpath insteadActually works out cheaper to leave the car on the street instead of in the garage for some reason.

Totally agree. Have 4 cars insured on my admiral policy atm and it’s very competitive. Cant complain, covers mods and allows me to add another car short term if I’m shooting it for a client. Hope I never have to find out how they deal with accidents!Any insurance company can be the best in the world to deal with.
It's only when **** hits the fan that you get any insight into how good they are.
Unfortunately same thing for me today. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then spent 15 minutes going through details. They had to call the underwriter for the best quote - I was then told it was a 'live quote' and I had to buy it there and then, or I can call back before 1pm today, and pay a higher quote of £55 more. I asked if I can call back and he can then recall the underwriters - but I was told under no circumstances would he call back the underwriters and requote me.we can only offer a quote over the phone which is valid for that phone call only, we couldnt offer the same price when you phone back...
They showed less than half a **** when I contacted them about insuring the vRS. Honestly don't know what they insure now.Tried them for my new Subaru. They basically told me to go somewhere else for a quote as I wanted to move NCB off a cheaper policy to use it for this, and they told me to just insure it with whoever I'm with now.
Tried that, they don't do modified cars
Went back to greenlight and got a bit of attitude as "We'd spoken before about this car" and then I was told they'll not touch it without an aftermarket Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser (Despite it already having factory fitted alarm and immobiliser) and they're need to see certificates of installation and testing.
Felt a bit "We're not interested" but the goalposts kept moving with new excuses. Was with them for years with the old turbo mx5 too and never an issue!
@ace275
Your Subaru is an import, right? In that case you need a euro spec immobiliser, nobody will accept a Jap one.
If it was installed by the importer then all you need is a certificate from them.
Any other insurer will be the same.
