no its not, sure it showed the engine bay, doesnt sound like a vr

It doesnt sound like a standard VR6, but theres a definite 6 cylinder howl off it. A VR6 has a very narrow angle V and looks a bit like a 4 cylinder engine. Check out this link

On the cover of the magazine it says Turbo VR6 plus, when you pause the video at the part where it shows the engine, you can see 6 injectors and 6 plug leads.
