I downloaded it the other night but it says "bmw adapter not connected properly", even when plugged in to the car.

Ive tried a few other programs and none have done what I need.

Can you code Bluetooth? This is the procedure I need;

"Anyhow here is what I did:
ordered BMW SCAN 1.4.0 and installed on my laptop (did not work and had to download the software from AP SOFT) .
Then run diags on telephone no problems found except for "pairing faliures",
get into bluetooth settings
clear all paired phones
change passkey
set pairing on using BMW scanner and not the recommended way in the manual
got wife's SAMSUNG Galaxy S3 registered on no problem
works fine now."

Haven't managed to get DIS working ether, it might do it too but.

dis is a dose if its from the net, uses a virtual machine environment and needs a massooove hard drive and ram

Have you a decent laptop? You can install this disc if you like it has a few different programmes on it
