Btw did the convoy to portadown still happen? i showed up at motorgym but heated seats made leaving the car dificult and didnt seem to be many cars about

Hi Matthew, yep it's me.

Went to pick car up on Fri morning and the engine management light came on. "Throttle potentiometer" according to Vag-com, which is worrying as that's the third time it's happened in 18 months. Still, if it's going to happen, better in the confines of a garage!

The unit was replaced once, then miraculously righted itself after happening a 2nd time. It happened on the Ards carriageway last year, I called my Dad and arranged for him to tow me back in his van. By the time he arrived, I had a throttle again.
