Hopefully get the barge MOTd here on Friday and then can start wafting again over summer. Everything I've driven or sat in since has felt a bit crap.

That colour is beautiful. I've wanted an X350 XJ8/XJR for years.

What a tank these are !

On the look out for a real clean one of these for a long time with no luck

That one of yours looks to be in fantastic condition

I'd say it's in a useable condition. Left it two weeks at Dublin airport and didn't really think twice about it lol. It had some restoration work at a specialist in Southampton before I bought it.

Yes I had a go with one of those too. They are brilliant cars. Bit chunkier than the X300.

Would highly recommend one to anyone.

@Coog I definitely prefer the 300 styling but with being so much more modern and lightweight, the 350 chassis makes more sense to me at least for daily driving.

It feels much more modern to drive too. The N/A 4.2 V8 can really shift. I remember reading somewhere that the X350 shell without the engine is lighter than a Mini Cooper. The interior is also really classy. I think the wood in them doesn't photograph very well; much nicer in the flesh. Wonderful cars

Quick clean yesterday.

To do list is new front and rear badge, maybe centre caps, wheel alignment and that’s about it. Stick it through mot on the 24th next month.

Old skool
Service history, no Idea. Brought it unseen from @southsky sunrise. Think he knows the previous owner who looked after it. Had new brakes all round, plenty of tread on the tyres and drives sweet.

Think it’s on 180k now.

Once mot’d it’ll be up for £1950.

To be fair he’s kept it longer than I did 😂

Bought this today at handy money. High enough miles but in great condition and loads of history. Comfortable and can shift on rightly for what I need.

Just finished giving it the anachem treatment.
