You cant just get a basic respray from Nu Luk.

They are exspensive because they wont paint over anyone elses work. Purely for Quality.
So therefore every wheel is acid dipped and repaired/straightend and Painted.

Machined face etc.. is an extra on top of that.

If you pay £25 per wheel, they might look ok for a month or two, but long term is when they show the quality of work.

Exspensive, Yes
Quality, The best
Worth it? Deffo

Knowing the amount of work that goes into properly preparing a wheel, then £105 is pretty reasonable to be honest. i wouldnt do it for that

Lol, thats £420 for a full set. You're not even getting new wheels for that, just existing ones made more presentable.

Im really quite amazed. Even if i were very wealthy, there no way at all i would justify spending that amount of money on this.

You may think im being niave, and thats the going rate- fair enough, but to me its just silly.

What about a high power silver paint? Is it noticeably shiner than standard silver? Anyone ever seen a set painted with it?

Can you not just get high power silver paint?

Nope, a mate of mine had this done with a set of Mondeo ST200 wheels. Afaik its the same "glitter" thats in metallic paint already, just a bit more was added

Hmm, having to describe over the phone that i want black in between the spokes and round the back, with high power silver on the face of the spokes and lip etc, could prove tricky!

Are re-paints from AWRC etc around the £50 mark these days, or more?
