Any idea how to move on to the next photo on the IR Driver site? It says to click the one with the 3 campers to view all 271, but I can't see a "next" button anywhere.

He was as odd as a bottle of chips! Couldnt get him away and was chatting about a mates car, getting a lot of things wrong we just said aye to keep him happy. Did he say to you about making money then? lol Thought he was gunna suggest drugs running

Yeah we couldn't get away quick enough we were down on the grass bit looking at a black mk2 Golf and came over (out of knowere i might add!) asking did we like those golfs, been around along time etc etc etc, like you say just kept saying yeah and what not. Yeah he did ask about money....told him were to go, then he darted off. Was gona try point him out to organisers, but never saw him again, Yeah could have been anything really! last thing you want to have at a show!

Did anyone take a look around that mk1 escort? It caught my attention as something just didn't look right at the front wheels, out to far in arches and narrowish. It's front wheel drive! What a waste!

It was originally 4 door and he chopped it. Original engine was scrap so he was going to put a 2ltr from a sierra in her, but the plan fell through. Then he decided he wanted it as a daily so he put in a diesel from the latest shape escort. People used to ask him about it all the time in work & the response to him telling them it was FWD was always the same "Oh, well... thats .. .. .. different! " lol .. .. He has 2 of them, both were 4 door and chopped only the other has original engine. Snapped this pic when he used to keep it in work. This one is nicer imo.

If the red one is the one I've seen in Newtownabbey a few times then I'm a bit gutted to hear it's FWD. I last seen it the Friday the heavy snow started last month and thought he was a hero

Saying that, it's still a lovely looking thing and I still have to be impressed at anyone who uses such an old car as a daily, especially in the winter months.
