you could notice it for a couple of seconds

but i did notice that it only took firemen 2minutes 16 secs until they were starting to put it out

wish that could happen over here then alot of major damage might be prevented

Quite old. Would be one of the worst thing ever to have to stand and watch you car burn. Thats exactly why i'll be buying 2 extinguishers when my engine s tuned.

Thats rough.
Notice the airbag wheel has been removed also - seems like an odd thing to do.

Judging by the gauge pod on the dash, im assuming it was a fairly quick tuned model. So the wheel could well have been replaced to reflect this.

Lol, no no. It seems to be the norm with these kiddo's who have prompt, modified engined cars, to get some supportive bucket seats + a small racing wheel!

Think it'd be the last thing I'd remove - they'd feel pretty stupid if they crashed and got a face full of metal wheel boss.:scream:

I think if you're getting your car engine into a state where there's quite a risk of it catching fire, you'd be best investing in one of those plumbed in extinguishers.

nasty.

years ago my gran had an '88 1.4 escort, i drove round to the house one morning and the windows where all black, the fire had started during the night but had starved itself of oxygen inside the car, dash and all melted onto the floor, crazy

seen it before

lucky he had the camera.

and if my mate was standing filming my car burning instead of running and rapping every door in the street trying to get sources of water to try and help me i would seriously turn that camera sideways and shove it right up his **** !!!
