@Tony@Greenlight, go and buy this man a beer after work!
@Tony@Greenlight are you still not touching BMWs?
Most insurers do this, this hateful tho.So apparently my insurance has gone up in price this year with Greenlight. Never had that before ffs.

Would it be possible for yous to insure a 19 year old on a 1998 jap import 1.8 mx5. Literally the only driving the car will get is to and from 6/7 events each year and maybe to and from the garage. Well under driven 2000 miles per year. Only mods are hydraulic handbrake and bucket seats and harnesses. 2 years driving as named driver, no points or claims. If so name your price or message me

@David_Showerks mine has went up also. That's why I was checking with @Tony@Greenlight
Quite disappointed with Greenlight, for the second year in a row, not even providing me with a quote as it was nowhere near competitive any quote I had received before (which weren't even that brilliant).
Golf GTI MK6, 22 y/o, 2 years NCB. I totally get the age vs. hot hatch thing but after reading through this thread regularly I did expect better from a company that specialises in this type of thing.
@Tony@Greenlight You seem to be very well thought of on here, and that hasn't came about over night or for no reason so maybe it's just my criteria? If there's anything you can do to help, I'd appreciate it. PM me if more suitable!
I asked for a quote from greenlight last week, but it wouldn't quote me and just told me that my current insurer was cheaper
Was hoping to get both cars insured with Greenlight - E91 330D M Sport and the 350z but wont touch the BMW
We do cover quite a few 350z and 370z's.
Whilst we will require performance rear wheel drive experience to cover these, our products do recognise and provide a discount for ownership of your vehicle for 12 months or more. Which will help.
I'd explain that over the phone. I rang a couple of weeks ago to swap from 170hp leon to a 330hp Subaru and they weren't going to do it until i explained that before the leon i was insured on a 320hp subaru ! Have your previous "performance" cars been with Greenlight, or someone else ?I am a past customer and rang for a quote on my 350z today - I've had the car for about 6 months but was told I absolutely couldn't insure it in the first year of ownership with yourselves. I wasn't asked about previous experience - I have owned both an MR2 and MR2 supercharger in the past and also turbo charged Mazda/Subaru/Toyotas . I have 11 years no claims on one car and 2 years no claims on a lapsed policy with yourselves. Is there no budging on this?
