Mercedes Window Trim

Has anyone experienced this discolouring / reaction on Mercedes window trims? Present before my ownership.

Wanted to check if anyone was aware of replacement or remedy under Mercedes warranty before I remedy it myself?

Yeah I regularly clean a GLA for a girl who has this and sadly nothing can be done about it other than replacing the trim or wrap them - i tried with several polishes but they are completely tarnished from previous owner
