- -31 actuator
- Yellow injestors
- RS500 intercooler
- cosworth t5 box with close ratio gears and quick shift
- baby atlas axle with lsd [ford ZF with 3.44:1 cwp]
- hydraulic clutch conversion
- panhard rod kit
- compression struts [front] & tension struts [rear] in place of arb's
- wilwood 4 pot brakes with bias adjustment and groved discs up front
- pedal box
- cosworth rear calipers and discs
- hydraulic handbrake
- bilstein coilovers up front
- single leaf decambered springs in rear
- rear lowered on 1.5" lowering block

Just 1st class lad absolutely love old escorts and the added bonus of a cossie lump is just great. Have seen a few with that lump rallying and the term Handful just about covers it so enjoy it !! LOL

Awesome, absolutely stunning.

Is it a proper mexico shell? I presume it isnt if you have modified the tunnel for the sierra gearbox, if its not get some grp4 gravel arches on there (y)

Yep big giant arches are the ticket davecoupe but I guess thats down to personal taste. Might need them on the back for bigger wheels to get all that lovely power down :grinning:

cheers for the comments guys. She is an absolute handful, last weekend she was still kicking out in 3rd on the dry road.

Ive always loved mk2's and the rally tarmac arched ones but i love the way this one is a bit of a sleeper, the look on peoples faces when it takes off is great craic, bigger wheels would def give me more grip but i quite enjoy the liveliness, keeps you awake :grinning:

It was built from a 1.3 shell so its only a mexico replica. Been doing some tidying up but more or less bought it the way it is, the last owner didnt really know much about is so after my summers fun the engines coming out for a tidy up and see whats lurking within, maybe a few upgrades if needed.
