Need advice

Purchased Impreza STi hatch from local small dealer roughly 7/8 months ago, quickly realised had been leaking oil so left it back to get fixed, car returned a month later still leaking

Got in touch again, again car took in for 3/4 weeks returned still leaking, have since taken it to Eastwoods Subaru to get looked at and have been advised that repairs for leak could cost upward of £5000 due to engine needing rebuilt/reforged. Car is out of warranty with original dealer and won’t return calls/texts

Any legal advice or recommendations appreciated

What exactly have Eastwoods said? I have been around Imprezas a long time and never know an oil leak to need a rebuild

I was assuming something like a cracked block or warped.

Any other symptoms other than the oil leak? I would seriously doubt there is a cracked block, did they send any images or similar?

Suspected cracked piston too, yeah he’s all pics there waiting for me picking it up to show
