ok folks im after a 172 or a gti6 or any other interesting suggestions in the same performance range. ive got about 2000-2500 to spend so whats out there?

seen that wee 172 sitting in waringstown for sale, looks like a clean example!

Yep thats his mate, my bros selling it, he wants to keep it but the insurance is too expensive for him, i dont know much about it but i know its very clean and has had lots of money spent on it.

Car has had no expense spared and i will be sad to see it go, however need a bigger car as im am moving house and the clio isnt practical for me at the min. :worried:

No offence to either of the above, but i wouldnt go near one with high milage, I sold mine with 78k on it, and should have sold it 10k earlier

No offense Chris, but a car that has been properly looked after wont have problems with high mileage

both are very nice cars, i drove past the first today on a job so couldnt stop for a look. Ideally though i was hoping for something under 100k and i think the prices are a couple of hundred over the mark even with the work done. Ill see whats handy on the mainland but ill keep both in mind. Thanks.

i know but its the hassle of it im looking something i can just jump straight into and go. The mileage is makin it very tempting though!
