Stunning but i think it is wrong for such a ugly man to have such a nice car. Get them windows tinted before people start to look.

You dont want to disgrace Ford with your horse like features. lol.

Looking well Paul chum, cant wait to get a look at this and then we can start to compare differences.

Is there any of my old parts that you might be after? although i dont have the Cossie rims anymore, but im considering getting rid of my Engle 122's if you may be interested.

I was expecting to see an Escort for some reason.

Very nice Paul.

R.E. wheels, the only ones id go for would be the ones Terry had, or the 5 spoke Cosworth wheels- always loved them on the Sierra, even though they are a bit newer.

How rude:scream:

Your wheels are too big and the wrong offset for the saphh, they'd rub like a thing that likes to rub alot!

Sure i'll get a chat with you on Sat no doubt :grinning:

RS7s are pish for brake clearance - i go for them if that wasn't the case:worried:

I think Rondells are the way forward if Rab can get his hands on a set.

Just to give you an idea what they look like.

Nice car Paul.
Seen your post on Pf i looked at the 47,000 mile saff at Nat Day you spoke off did you view it.?

Just bought a Saff myself to replace the S1 and MK2 RS2000.

The rondells are not worth the money they are now making they are too soft a rim though the 17" seem stronger than the 18" though that would'nt be difficult.
You would be be off with a proper motorsport type rim.

Good luck with the new car.

Cheers Sean........

Didn't view the black one - decided i wanted a quick cossie rather than a mint one :p J22 isn't a minter, but its straight and clean enough for me.

What sapph did you buy? A stunner no doubt! You heading to the junction 1 show on sunday?

I'd like the rondells just because they are rare. Don't really want MOs again, but if a set of THs came up i'd probably go for them:grinning:

The 47,000 mile car was ok but im very fussy
Bought one with 25,000 miles on it the car was not advertised but i knew off it and asked would it be for sale, paid top money for it but i think in the long term its worth it
Its the best original non-restored 92/93 spec car ive seen in a long long time.
Wont be at Junction 1 as im away for the weekend
Enjoy the show if you go.

Cheers Sean.....

Sounds like a minter! But then going by your previous cars that not a surprise:p What colour is yours?

Can't wait to get a look at it.

On a different note, the de-blinging operation is going well. Got a standard cambelt cover, filler car and battery cover sorted for the car. I'm on a bit of a sticky wicket regarding coolant hoses. I want the proper 4x4 ones, but that also means buying a 4x4 header tank to replace the 2wd one i have for some bizarre reason. I think i may go for one of Pro Alloys 'steath' tanks:grinning:

Also fitted brand new front indicators and headlamp wiper blades today(y) but you can't really tell in pics, so no point posting them lol.

Yeah, but they don't fit over decent brakes lol:p I hate bling - its nothing but hassle lol. Turbo heatshield is going to be a hard one to sort as i'm missing the original mounting brackets to put a proper one back on :worried: Have to call some of the breakers - see whats out there.

I'm also not entirely sure the car is putting out the power it should be:confounded: In contact with turbosystems to see what the car has been mapped for, what boost it should be running (i think therein lies the problem - boost need turned up:imp: ) etc etc. Hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

Got a few new bits today, Genuine RS 500 intercooler to replace the 500 copy i have and a brand new genuine 500 inlet hose - Pretty hard to find! Just waiting on a custom hose that goes from the turbo to the cooler as the guine one is designed to fit a T4 turbo.

17's are too big on a sierra IMHO, a set of white 16" TH2's is what you need for her lad ;)

There is a method to my madness - 16" = 305mm 6 pots max - 17" = 335mm 6 pots ;)

Do you know how much they cost? :p

If i was going mag, i'd have the OZ monte style rim in 17".

One thing to note about the super t's is they have the wrong size tyrres on - 205/45/17, i really need 205/40/17. But they are something to buy after christmas lol.
