No not an error this bike really has only 1km? To be fair I’m not into working/restoring bikes but Iv a strong notion to do somthing with this (although I have it advertised incase someone wants it more that I do) it’s an Indian built 500cc that’s been sympathetically restored but on reflection I think the restoree was just simple!! Couple of little knocks on tank that he’s filled, not sanded properly and lashed over in the wrong colour of blue seen in pictures, bike has never ran, still full chrome on exhaust, paint on engine fins, back sprocket etc... real rare sight that has me baffled

Wow! How the hell has it only got 1km?! Well at least theres no major work involved for restoring

Is there a log book/V5 with it Fred ?
It may not be a vintage as they still make them in India afaik.

Documents and op say it’s 1983, I know it’s indian built, came from a ex-dealer so is old new or new old stock along with a another Enfield bike with 180 miles that was used for demonstrating
