Well lads ,

I'm on the look out for a BMW E60 Preferably 535D or 530D LCi but will consider otherwise ( Pre Lci )( 525D LCi)

Time to upgrade the workhorse so I thought the E60 would be the ideal cruiser for pulling me from Derry to Co Louth twice a week.

I spent yesterday viewing a 535D LCi which was described as 100% all around and car won't be faulted. Let's just say it needed every panel panted , 4 new wheels and tyres amongst many other big alarming issues so please give accurate descriptions of your cars. I know one man's version of immaculate can vary to another's but just to save me the hassle again. 🙈🙈

I am after something that has been looked after nothing hanging together and needing a load of work.
Preferably less than 140k miles
(Auto and widescreen is a must )
Good service history
Good overall bodywork

If you lads have anything or know of anything please let me know

Theres a 08 530d estate on Facebook market place in Bangor! Driven past it a few times! Looks worth a shout

Toyed with putting my V70 R D5 up the road for another 535/530 but 50mpg+ is hard to beat!

Ah I forgot to mention no estates lol

Volvos are something else!

My dad has a S60 2.4 D5 and the sound and power was something else , can't beat the sound of the 5 cylinder but it was harder to run than his previous 530D

I've been looking , the selection is not great and the English men think they are worth alot more than what they are at the minute

I absolutely LOVE mine!!!

Although have sunk a fair few quid into it, despite it being a well serviced and un-molested example. Saying that, I shouldn't need to so anything but oil changes for the bext 4 years.

I actually like the interior, something different and as long as it wasn’t cream, I’d be willing to try the rest. Good driving car though, had it a run earlier and it’s a nice big wagon.

Definitely nice and especially rare in white.

Have you found yourself a new runabout yet ?

Nope, need to sell a couple of things here then I’m going to head across the water and buy a cheap jeep I’d say, X5 / Touareg / Q7 maybe.

I have a 535d lci, 150k miles
Just after a lot of work for mot, wee turbo has started to get smokey on it so i need to get that replaced
Black interior with widescreen idrive
