One of the most chilled events of the car show calendar in Northern Ireland is definitely the Castlewellan Car Show run by the VAG enthusiasts club GTINI.   It’s one of the longest running shows locally too, taking place at the same venue for well over a decade.  With everything from Bugs to Campers, Audis to Vauxhalls there’s always something for everyone at the Castlewellan event

The same simple recipe has worked just as well from year to year, a great venue with plenty of space with no pre-arranged arrival or leaving times, the beautiful backdrop of the Mourne Mountains and Castlewellan Lake, and seemingly the club can book great weather too.  It’s no wonder there’s always huge interest in this event.

This Merc was one of our show favourites

This year was no exception with many from GTINI making the trip to Castlewellan, along with the likes of NI-BMW and the NI RS Owners Club putting in some great club stands.

As usual there was a charity collection at the gate along with some very tasty charity burgers being sold by GTI NI.  All in all a great way to spend a Saturday.
