2006 BMW 5 Series 530d Msport | £2,100

For sale due to buying replacement.

2006 BMW 530D Auto in Titan silver
I bought this car in 2016 from a car dent repair guy (not a dent on any panel)

Good points:

Bodywork is ok no dents nor rust spots, tyres have plenty of life and all glass is intact.
Engine is running perfectly
Leather seats are big sofas and very easy to waft longer journeys
19" Spider reps refurbished by Michael @  Polished Alloys last year in Shadow Chrome finish (does have the odd mark but nothing major)
New Stronger Torque Convertor fitted last year
Fairly new pads (front and rear) and rear discs, front discs may need doing soon.
Remapped (autotune)
DPF gutted and EGR removed.
most of the steering parts up front have been replaced inside the last 2 years including tie rods, track rod ends etc.
Fairly new front shocks and new rear springs.
Both Termostats have been replaced with branded items.
Weak point exhaust flexi has been replaced.
Osram CBI D1S HID bulbs which made a nice increase in light/cut off over the standard D1S bulbs. This car was factory fitted with the auto headlights that follow your steering.

Bad points:

Bluetooth module needs replaced
Vibration from drive shaft support bearing, only vibrates at 20mph but will probably need replacing.
Gearbox is temperamental, it seems to be lazy at times and sharp at others which may be down to fluid level, it has only done this since getting the torque convertor replaced but I've been too busy to be without my car for any amount of time to get it fully checked out. It cruises perfectly though, seems to be more sensitive at lower speeds I have driven it to Dublin and back 4 times as well as Donegal and plenty of trips across to England, It doesnt produce any dash lights etc, just seems a little erratic when cold.
Left foglight has sagged a little and needs put back in place.

Only service history I have for it is what I have done since buying it.

Given that I am not a mechanic and its mot is due this month, I just want it gone so will sell quickly for £2100 (price drop as car has to go).

Might suit someone handier with spanners than myself or someone just looking some torquey diesel cruising, this car has plenty of life left in it yet!
