I dunno if I'm getting old or what but nothing really stood out, in fact I questioned why half the cars were actually on show :scream: Paid special attention to the rms stand and credit to you all, they were turned out well!! Did notice when walking back to the car half the spectators cars were more interesting including beautiful old mini and a stunning Cossie. On the plus it was for charity and they got a great day for it (y)

@jayme no more so than any other person revving their car really, I've seen prominent rms members at shows doing it too, guess its just owners responding to requests

Just though it was a tad ridiculous imo. seemed like a pretty clean example to be giving it abuse like that.

Anyone got any links to photo albums, always find I miss alot that i then see in pics.

@jayme, think evo's with anti lag etc, o different really. Rotarys efficiency point is circa 5k rpm, our harmonic destruction point short of 13k, so up into the 9k range is still pretty shallow in the range, think of them as being similar to a two stroke that needs cleared out

Grand day out I thought... Went as a passenger with @Paddy_R. Cars worth noting i thought were: the two abarth puntos, the white polo gti beside the rs4, red nova gsi, the red land rover discovery (yes really!) and of course the entire rms stand!

Oooo @m00k look at that ass :p haha

Elaine says it's technically her ass so no looking I'm worried that stu beck found the need to check it out and text me

Actually had a double think when I was typing it as I couldn't remember... Either way I'd say it sounds sensual on full chat

Talking of sensational, all the cars brought by RMS members where fantastically turned out. The VXR8 and nur burg spec VXR beside eachother were great..... infact there were alot of great Vauxhalls dotted about the place including an awesome Nova GSI.

Think it was more luck than design that it ended up that way as I was a late arrival

RMS stand looked brilliant.

Cheers I needa get some time to tidy up some bits and pieces but lil un keeps me busy, great family car tho I recommend to everyone lol

The burgs are lovely too great note outta them wi the Remus, although when it comes time to change def consider a vxr8, natural progression for ya lol

it's funny standing cleaning at the car and hearing some spectators commenting on cars, two were arguing if your car shoulda been called a nurburg if it hasn't been to burg and if it ever actually had, and how many guesses ppl take on the name and make of the vxr8 followed but what size engine is

Overall not a bad day, good spread and mix of stuff, yes it was for charity but some of it was debatable on should it have got in, completely bog standard base level cars not even presented well, but raised a good amount which was main thing and it was a nice dry day!!

I heard a number people asking was yours a vauxhall or what was it. They've little to worry about if they were arguing about whether mine should be called a burg or not lol aww I'd love a vxr8, maybe some day.. Here's hoping anyways. It's really is a beautiful car.

Some of the stuff today was awful, some not even clean and a lot that looked the same, but some very nice cars also. The wide arched fiat abarth 500 looked a lethal wee thing, it looked to have a massive intercooler. Not sure if it's a special edition or not, I've never seen one before.
