Good job your not chasing numbers lol, ya don’t get them off Richards dyno lol. Think he has a new one coming tho. Greg knows his stuff. Standard inlet manifold on that car too so I’m happy to stick with mine too

So hit the shed this morning to see what needs doing
Started by working on the hicas an getting it removed
Turned into a disaster with the bushings really being tight, after almost 20 years im not surprised

Reason I'm deleting the hicas ( rear wheel steer ) is because the rear ball joints are worn an to change its a handling. So I posted this picture last week
Can see the balljoint/boot is knackered

20180225_105452.jpg

1st had to chop both joints off with the grinder an pulled the hicas out of the car
20180304_133243.jpg

So I took into it with my new clamp an impact gun
20180304_160535.jpg

10 mins later the bushing was out an hole cleaned
( Outside was cleaned before I fitted the new bushing dont panic )
20180304_160542.jpg

Then I sat about getting new bushings in followed by the driftworks hicas eliminator kit

And in it went

Then I helped a mate with his car an got it off the ground an done a bit of stripping of his v6 vectra

Once he was happy to work away I opened the box of the carbon bonnet an said we need to fit this
20180304_145754.jpg

So he-man after we had undone the bolts walked off with the old

Out today an fitted Hel brake hoses. Bled the brakes. An took it off the stands to go for a run

Got all wheels on an rear driver wheel was locked
Few attempts of moving an done a small burnout an now out shed is stinking :joy:

But got it freed up an took it a run
Then decided it needed a wash as it was covered in crap an dust

Abs light sorted
Finally the fuel pump
That was the most awkward thing I've done so far

Wheels look great. What width and tyre as it always interests me.
Wheels are 19" and 9.5"
Tyres are 225-35
Had 235-35 But was rubbing the rear arches
Now my Yokohama tyres have marks were they rubbed. Hopefully these 225 doesnt rub now

Yeah nice i was running the same 225/35 on 9.5 last summer with no issue. Dont go down to 215 it dosen’t end well lol.
When the 235 rubbed I thought 215 will def not rub. But if it's stretching a bit like that with 225. I'd hate to see what 215-35 would look like
