Hello All,

Thought I’d introduce myself and my car. Bought it from Phillips Volkswagen in Lisburn a few months ago.

There have been a few beautiful mk7.5 on here.

I love white silver and look forward to seeing your modifications when you get them done

Stunning!

One of the few cars that would tempt me out of my S3 again

Definitely a great all rounder as a car, with plenty standard. I've seen a few 7.5 GTD's on here all with great spec as well, still on the fence with the leather interior however.

They are a great car, I had a white silver mk7.5 until 3 months ago. Mine had the 19’s Brescia’s which I think are the nicest wheel on them.

I had a white silver R, such a stunning colour. Yours looks great.

I know what you mean about the leather though, that's why I opted for the cloth in the R. How are you finding the GTD? What kind of MPG are you getting?

GTD is great, I tried the pre-facelift GTI PP and found the GTD to be a more engaging car to drive strangely. I think the Performance Pack made it too capable.

Usually sits about 50-55mpg, that being said it’s gradually going up the more miles are put on the car.

Great looking car do you find it’s easier kept after having the paintwork coated

I coated it myself. 100% it’s much easier to clean and stays cleaner. I’m on building sites all week and all the dirt just falls off.

Very nice! They are a great car. A few simple things will make the biggest difference to them.

I loved my old one.

Well now I'm worried about mine ending up looking very similar to yours! I saw yours at Dubshed there a good while ago really looked well. Also when I just got mine and saw yours for sale the wingbacks really set it apart.

Few things I forgot about, I painted the bare metal calipers Gloss Black with POR15.

Also fitted the Helix Sound System upgrade a while I first got it, massive improvement to the system for the money.

Also kept my spare wheel as well!

I got them off Amazon, the website I was on said they did them, could be a US vs Euro issue.

They’re expensive but very worth it.
