Just home from a cracking megameet with the S2KUK club in Wales. Brilliant weather, great route and roads and meeting up with fellow driving enthusiasts.

Base was the Metropole Hotel which is fantastic at hold car club events and is well situated for ease of access to great driving routes.

Over 50+ cars in attendance from across the UK and Europe. Thanks to @S2000-sam for organising the local crew and getting us over

NSX was chosen for the weekend as been suffering some pain of late and needed something that offered that little bit of comfort and up for a decent blast round Wales. Needless to say, faultless as ever and plenty of respect from members and the Welsh public 👍

Exhausted now but great fun ...

Well that’s her put to bed for the winter. Obviously will get the odd run over the next several months to keep her ticking over.

Good wash down today with product by @Big Pimp, Gtechniq and finished with some nano wash products. In the garage now with the cover on and ctek battery optimiser added.

A few more runs this year which was good and a few shows to boot. Enjoyed getting her out again and driving it. I have to say it was a nice feeling as the last few years it has been difficult for various reasons.

It’s the NSX 30th anniversary next year so contemplating a Euro run with fellow owners if at all possible to accommodate or perhaps Silverstone Classic which is a great show in its own right and UK owners always attend.

Few things to work on over the winter and maybe new bits can be procured as well. Hopefully get all done prior to new season commences.

some final pics for 2019

Wow, came across this pic not that long ago via Social Media and never knew it existed until it surfaced and it just reappeared on my feed so thought I would share

This was taken at the Circuit Dijon-Prenois which was the Grand Prix L’Age D’or event. As part of the NSX Euro tour in 2015 the organisers secured some track time on the main day to show case the NSX to the spectators marking its 25th anni back then. Of course it did not take much encouragement to go out.

From what I can recall it was a fairly technical track with some interesting corners! As you can see some interesting elevation parts too. My approach to the corner in this pic was not ideal but hey I was never there before!!!

It was a very warm day I recall and the event was very well attended something akin to Silverstone Classic etc.

I still dream about getting to sit in an NSX! Looks like you have a lovely example and great to see it’s getting used as Senna and Honda intended 👍🏾

Wow! Thank you (x2) and yes please (x100) 😍

I staged the Civic the long way home from work yesterday, it never fails to disappoint lol! But interestingly, I filled it with 95 instead of 98 (just to save a few euro for pasta) and I really noticed a difference. There was a noticeable lack of punch on 95, so that’s the last time I do that lol!

Thanks @Gaz VW yup that was it’s first outing of the year. Took it out for a wee blast after being housed all winter

yes certainly different to the mundane buying habits of today’s drivers and what’s offered by manufacturers

I spotted this last Saturday morning I think, going onto the northway? It stands out so much on our roads. One car I’d be extremely proud to own. Looks great

My favourite car on RMS,
If I could have any car,. It’d be an NSX.
Someday..... 🤞

So good to see a well cared for example that gets the driving it should. 👍🏻

It’s been some time since I last updated this thread and with events over the past year has certainly not helped along with a number of other issues that could have been easily rectified but unfortunately never did; thus causing delays, frustration etc. But alas we have got to today and thankfully great progress has been made and bar a few niggles remaining, the 🍌 is aging gracefully again. 🤘

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice a few changes but the main aim over the last year was a further refresh this time on the exterior. There were a number of bits needing attention and the PPF had aged considerably since it’s original installation. In the end the decision was made for it to be removed and work was carried out in giving the car a well deserved makeover. As you can see the results speak for themselves. Thanks goes to @davemk2.

Other areas needing addressed was considerable judder on braking throughout the car and with great relief new discs and pads from Dixcel appears to have solved the issue.

some interior pieces needed sorting as well.

Few new bits added to the car, these should be self explanatory 😀

Anyway a few pics to let you see what I’m waffling about, I will add more when I get them

Fantastic car, and I always think it looks even better in person. Such a presence on the road. Even if it wasn't yellow it wold stand out.
