On the hunt guys for another car, work van keeps me going during the week and i want something to mess about with at the weekends!! Preferable petrol, has to manual and 3 door. Cheers

Clubsport at that price would be rough enough would it not? Or auto like you say.

Mini Cooper S or Civic Type R would be a good bet for a bit of weekend fun

I have had an EP3, 306 Rallye, 106 GTI and Cooper S.. 106 is the most fun and best handling, EP3 is the nicest to drive and fastest.

I thought the Cooper S was a bit numb.. even with the 170hp pulley/remap and H&Rs. It was my wife's car and I would not have really felt like a man owning it!

My phase 1 172 was one of the most fun cars I have ever owned.

An impreza would be fun in budget too especially as they feel much faster than they are.

An early boxster if you could find one would be an awful lot of car for the £ too
