Gumball 3000 comes to Belfast

This year the Gumball 3000 is going from Dublin to Bucharest with the first checkpoint in Belfast on 1st may! Rally has never been to Northern Ireland before, should be good for a nosy.

Can't wait for this... I was contemplating the trip to London where they often are at some point! Saves me the trip. Brilliant to see more and more global events involving Northern Ireland.

ah yea the £60,000 entry fee then the additional near £20k required would surely make you feel better

RMS trip t the gumball and then into a bar?! We might even get a decent day to sit out. Like cars and coffee, but without the driving and more of the drinking.

That was the cannonball Mel, at leat the entry fee's for that are honest and it raises a ton of money for charities rather than lining pockets.
Should be a bit of a spectacle though no doubt

Apparently Ronnie Brown is doing it in the C63 Merc. It's away getting wrapped at the minute I was told.

Sunday - Witness the beginning of the 2016 Gumball 3000 Rally from the start line as all the Gumball cars start their engines and are waved off under the start flag as they begin their first leg of the rally to Edinburgh via Belfast.

They'll be coming up the M1 from Dublin, onto the A1, then onto the M1 again to Belfast. They'll not see a sh*t road!
