2016 Mini Cooper S

So the Mrs was having a bit of a downer this week, work being assessed (shes an accountant) failed an exam so thought I'd better do something to pick her up, she's always wanted a mini and her wee punto had had a fair battering in life as she regularly drives Elgin, Inverness and Drumnadrochit up by Loch Ness and the A9 down to Perth.

some fancy ltd edition god knows all I know is it pops and bangs goes like a trooper and eats up back roads well.

will get a full spec and some decent pictures this week once shes back on Tuesday from her business trip away

Gave the wee car a wash today, few new pics.

Off back for warranty work this week as the heater on the drivers side as it doesn't work

It's a beautiful wee car to drive got it mapped and it goes rightly maybe a bit too quick for the missus as she hasn't drive a quick car at all, the difference between driving modes takes a bit of getting to grips with but I blatround everywhere in sports mode. Kinda reminds me of my k20 jazz

Well she didn't last long t boned at a junction tonight by an old lady absolutely gutted

So ended up pushing insurance to repair the little car as they weren't agreeing on a payout value, luckily the repairs being done through my work so can oversee it and paint it myself be glad to have her back on the road

Today's work not many pics but doors off skirts and trims off and rear bumper off to be repaired, need to tweak the hinges with the dozer tomorrow and sort the sill out then start getting her panelled and test fitted

We flatten and Polish needed wheels on and she will be home

Finally back together off for a valet tomorrow and machine polish, will refurb the wheels after winter as ones been done as part of the accident and I didn't get time allocated to get this done. Repairs all upto BMW standard, really glad she's been repaired.
