the gf is looking to buy a car in the next few months and her heart has been set on a 206

she has at the absolute most £5k to spend preferabely round £3.5-4k but if she (or me ;) ) see's a good deal it mite be tempting

colours:

black, navy or the gti blue (isnt this wot its called?? did peugot bring a limited edition colour out a few years ago?) well mainly the gti blue she wants

engine:

1.1 or 1.4hdi which is better? maybe even 1.4 16v

age:

2000+

style:

wot style to go for? LX, Look etc.... wot has nicest interior and best on offer as in extras

reliability:

wot these cars like? anything go wrong after a certain mileage? etc.....

anymore info appreciated, thanks

Is insurance not going to play an important art in her decision??

Being a student etc the 1.1 would probably be the easiest to insure.

Boydie, try looking on www.psooc.co.uk for 206 info, its a huge Peugeot club and is really useful.

remember, the revised mk2 206 is coming out soon, so dealers will be looking to shift of older looknig stock, so she could get a right bargin!
