I had a really excellent guy who did the roof in my 968, he came to AG's to do it for me. I can ask Alan for his details again if you want?

Wasn't expensive either, he supplied the OE style vinyl roof material too.

Happy days as I was going to ask Alan to do a few bits & pieces on the car anyway so will mention it to him.

P.S Ordered your finest 2WD Cossie clutch & belts to AJ's garage :grinning:

Did Adam order them? I saw some stuff sitting to be delivered to him this afternoon actually. I'll have to buy you a beer on Saturday night for that! :grinning:

Classss, hope to see this about but sadly our cars never seem to cross paths.

Glad you finally got your cossie.

Missed this thread but knew you were getting a Cosworth all the same. Congratulations mate, it looks like a superb example.

Awesome. Amber lights and stage 1 and that perfect. How have you fared meeting your hero?

That's it, keep it simple.
So far so good, drives like no other Sierra has - very light on its feet. I'm not used to the boost from a petrol turbo car & during the test drive I found myself pointing at a traffic island at the wrong time. But this'll be kept as an ornament car, only to be used on good days.

Cheers @Paul.

This is epic! Good choice man I want an early 2wd sapphire as well has to have orange lenses and standard my dad had a few of them when new! Complete dream car when I was a kid that looks a lovely example 10/10

Cheers Mark, it says alot when a man of your caliber & collection goes weak at the knees for a Saph Cossie!

Absolutely awesome @BarryPort

Would love to get a look around it some time!

Getting wee bits touched up in Rasharkin as we speak but will call round to see the new pad once I've the interior back in it.

Went in for a bit of minor surgery today at Altnagalvin so cheered myself up with an OTTO 1:18 model

Looking at this car again and wishing it was in my garage, you lucky, lucky man. If it were me, I'd do away with the 4x4 bonnet but since it's not on Escort Cosworth wheels it avoids the trap of looking like every replica ever.

Had this out for the first time for the Ryan Bradley Rally Run. A quick circuit of Dunloy > Ballymoney > Kilrea > Rasharkin > Dunloy in memory of the man. Good wee outing & great way to get to know the Cossie. Nice driving thing.
